Are there hotlines for where you're depressed but not yet suicidal, but you don't want to GET suicidal, so you need to talk to someone? Or for people who don't even have the energy to commit suicide, but want to?

That happens to me almost every day (without the suicidal part), I don't know how talking to somebody can help. I just have to get really angry over something and it will pass. Anger is the cleanser for me.
If that doesn't work for you, then, well isn't that what the Haven is for?

You can call the suicide hotlines even if you're not suicidal.

They won't get pissed off at you?
To me it sounds kinda like calling 911 just to chat.

OMG; thanks so much; I need to write that one down! It's so refreshing; they're there for ALL depressed people!

Man, I was just saying to myself how I want to call suicide hotlines just to talk because I get awfully lonely sometimes. Not necessarily suicidal, just lonely. I always figured they'd get angry about it because there are people with real problems trying to call those things, though.

The only thing I'm worried about is my mom seeing it on my cell phone bill and getting the wrong idea. Even if I call when I have free minutes, the call still shows up on the bill, right? I really don't know anything about this cell phone stuff.

Not exactly what was asked but I would listen to happy/ uplifting songs at every chance.

Amazing how my mood can be lifted by just one song.
