HI. I am Nathan and I remember things people say and can reproduce the timbre of their voices with musical instruments and my voice.

Timbre is the color of a note. It is how we can identify one voice from another or one musical instrument from another. Myself, I can recall the timbre arrangements for whole orchestras, bands, or a room of people talking! Yay!

How can I access it? I focus on the most ambiguous emotion of "shared movement" or "posturing" as I like to call it, because each note I produce requires a different position of my body in a room. If I get my neck just right, I might sound just like James Brown! If i can get my fingers right on an electric bass guitar, I can sound like many instruments!

But James Brown is loud like a trumpet (thanks mom!) and so am I! This is not alway good in public places, but I seem to forget this sometimes. People laugh at me sometimes and but usually people know I am special and they ask for other songs.

I play an electric bass guitar in a few different bands and like to go on the internet and learn people's bass guitar music! Yay! Its so fun to play the bass! I've recorded on over 200 recordings now, but I still have troubles with the way I behave towards musicians when they play too loud. I stop playing and plug my ears in the middle of a song! No! Sometimes I get nervous and turn my back to the audience when I play Jazz music and not because its cool like my friend Wes said about the tool singer playing with his back to the crowd.

I also have absolute pitch, and sometimes perfect pitch if I practiced my bass guitar for a long time that day. It has no frets and sometimes the pitch is not perfect and my friend says it can sound like a cat! But my band director in the 5th grade told me Oboes sound like cats so hes wrong! My other friend says it sounds like a trombone or voices!

One time I played an electric bass with my left hand and an electric mandolin with my right hand! That was fun and my drummer friend joined in to play music that sounded like electric jazz music from the 60's and 70's.

I have problems, but music affects me for the better unless I plug my ears on stage! I just shouldn't talk about music because I won't stop talking until someone grabs me and I remember to "ride the wave" as my friend Robert told me. He says it means staying with my gift of presence! How do you all remember presence?
