I read some of my posts and they have no revelence to what others are saying a lot of the time, and my posts always seem to be about me. I am sorry to those who may find this irritating, and to all on WrongPlanet in general.

I haven't read your posts, but I will say that the fact that you are concious of of such things is a good sign; it is often the people that are aware of their own selfishness that are the least selfish, because at least they know to do something about it. I know how you feel, though, I have in the past been very self centered and only recently realized to what extent I was.

Isn't that part of our nature? To often revert everything back to ourselves?

I remember this one time I used to only talk about myself....

Yes I think it is. I do this too because I don't like to generalise about things because I'm not sure it's possible to do this. I mean, if I talk about something and how it affects me, I know it's 'true'. But if I say 'this is how it is for everyone' well, how would I know? It's not so much selfishness, rather that I don't want to assume my reactions to a situation apply universally to everyone. If that make sense. :?

What other point of reference would you have? We all do that to a point. I know more about myself than anyone I know. Might as well talk about the person you know best.

I do this too. I sometimes just can't be bothered to read every single post and comment on it!

Apology?

If I wanted general and filterd, I would not be here. How you see it is everything.

No matter how clever the words, we are all speaking of ourselves.

There is a small problem.

So many have cats. Could you write in cat now and then, it would make them so happy.

Dear Sam!

Your posts have been lovely. There's no need to feel bad about talking about yourself around here. For one, this is a support site. Many of us also come here because we want to learn about other people. A few weeks ago you were pretty single-minded about the issue you were having with that girl, but there's nothing wrong with that. It was where you were at.

Plus, we're a bunch of aspies. :P We all get that way from time to time, if not all the time!
