i saw a nami flier int them mail and i told my dad i didnt want them belonging to them because they are a corrupt phamuceutical company front group and that activatly spreads minisformation
and campaigns against the rights of people with psycho-sociall disablitlites.

he then starts spouting all sorts of irrellavant nonsense and dragging things that had nothing to do with the organization. i reitarate my point and wich hes say" i thought you were doing so well and threatens to throw me out on the street.

to wich i threaten to turn him over to the county prosecutors office. in his deluded mind he doesnt think or remember of doing anything wrong but all the crap hes pulled on me could him ten years state time

the only reason i havent done so all ready is i have no other place to live or anykind of means of support behind a small disability check

Personally, I have no idea how well connected NAMI is with the major pharmaceuticals. Personally, I am very, very conservative when it comes to medication. I only take it when I am physically ill and have a prescription by my physician.

As far as membership in NAMI is concerned, you don't necessarily have to become a full member. You can sign up for a free account or you can choose not to join and simply browse the public access areas of the website. I myself choose not to be a member though I have surfed their website from time to time.

I'm am sure your father was doing this out of good intentions. However, I am assuming you don't want to join out of principle(i.e. you don't trust them). In the future if you receive any more flyers in the mail by NAMI, I would simply ignore them and give them to your father along with the rest of his mail without bringing the subject matter up. If your father wants to give you the NAMI flyers simply say thanks and take them. You can simply discard them quietly at a later date. If your father asks about membership simply tell him that you are fine browsing the public access areas of the website.

You have nothing to gain and everything to lose by telling him what you really think of NAMI or telling him that you will turn him over to the County Prosecutor. In the future, I would simply not bring the subject matter up.
