Not sure if this applies, but I'm going to tell you the same thing I told my best friend the other day. Emotionally unavailable people are unavailable because of their own issues, not because of us. From what I remember you saying, you've been dealing with this person for a long time. I know it's hard (trust me, I know), but at some point you have to accept reality, give up, and walk away for your own sanity.

Any person who triggers you to cry on a continual basis is not worth your time and mental energy. Go find yourself someone who makes you happy and who feels lucky to have you in their life.

I'm with shadexii and Spot17 on this one. It sounds like this relationship is harming you.

after a while our obsession isn't even about the person we have fixated on, it is about the adrenaline and endorphins dumped into our blood streams we get addicted to when we sob our little hearts out and being habituated to the feelings we get when we just obsess.

Believe me I have had plenty of opportunities to figure this one out!

Not always easy to accept, but it is possible. It can be far more difficult to then act.

My sympathies... it sucks to obsess over things that hurt you. I do hope you'll be alright. *thumbsup*

He's not worth it, truly. If you can switch to thinking of something yukky every time you start thinking of him, it might cut through the obssession.
