How many others have sensory issues in relation to their Asperger's?

I definitely have sensory issues. Mostly auditory & visual processing. My only sense that is NOT hypersensitive is smell. My other 4 senses are hypersensitive.

I most often get cases of sensory overload from people yelling @ me, having music up too loud, or other loud sounds. Every time I have a bad enough case of sensory overload, it lands me @ Psychiatric Emergency Services (PES) @ University Hospital in Cincinnati, OH, USA. But of course too much stimulation to any of my 4 hypersensitive senses can give me sensory overload.

One thing that's weird is that I sneeze in response to lights being too bright or when the sun is too bright & I don't have my sunglasses on. I guess that's due to my visual hypersensitivity.

I never have noticed that the psychotropic meds help a lot with my hypersensitivities. But recently I started taking Symbyax @ 6-25 mg & it keeps me up to 45% calmer without changing my sensory sensitivities.

I've always had terrible sensory issues with all of my senses, but my 'supersonic' hearing causes me the most problems. Next would be smell. Strong chemical smells and perfumes, etc. make me nauseous and give me a headache. Then you combine smell with taste and texture, and I'm an extremely picky eater. Fast motion on a TV screen makes me nauseous. And I have lots of issues with clothing.

I also have this problem (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Photic_sneeze_reflex)

I could probably go on an on about my sensory issues, but those are the basics.

I have sensory issues as well. Large crowds tend to overwhelm me and I hate florecent lighting (the noise and the blinking). Certain pitches of voices, music, awful noise (aka rap) really irritate me as well.

My hearing is the main one. It's very sensitive and certain sounds are hard to handle. Also I may have CAPD because voices and some music tend to get scrambled into nonsense when I hear them. For me there really is such a thing as a bad hearing day.

Loud, persistent sounds freak me out, like hammering or dogs barking.
