This is has been occuring for a very long time now. I regret it everytime I laugh or be a bit goofy sometimes because in the end I think I'm immature. And for example, this morning one guy was pressuring me in class (high school) to watch a cat fight on youtube that happened a day ago. I asked them how they could find entertainment in that, and the guy said "WHAT KIND OF QUESTION IS THAT?!", while the girl behind me proceeded to call me gay. I really regretted this, cause I felt like s**t after that, even though I was trying to act as cheerful as possible. I tried to explain to them that I wasn't gay and it wasn't my type of thing to watch, but they kind of just ignored me.

And I feel like there's always somebody out to get me, weird feeling I tell you. I feel like someone is always going to make fun of me, no matter what I do. I really do regret everything I do. Even one of my friend's called me a douche this morning because I asked him why he was searching up gamespot in class. I said it in a jokingly matter, and afterwards he was normal to me again, but I still regret that too.

I regret everything I say!

You shouldn't feel bad about that. It isn't worthwhile to change who you are for the sake of someone else's approval. You're in high school, that's a huge time for people to jump on those that stick out. Sticking out isn't an inherently negative thing. Stick to who you are, and what you know, and worry less about whether or not others "approve."

If he was normal afterwards, don't let it get to you. The only thing I can come up with is that if it was in class, he might have been annoyed that you would effectively out him as doing something not class-related by asking why he was doing it. If he didn't get in trouble for it, it isn't a big deal. It wouldn't have been your fault for it if he had, he decided to go to that website.

That guy who asked you what kind of question is that sounds like a jerk. Just say to you're friends you were only messing around, if they're still the same, try and find other people to hang around with.

I regret everything I say!

it's all a matter of perspective. Eventually, not being interested in cats fighting will likely earn you more favorable attention. I remember high school, it's all about attacking anyone with any differences, so don't sweat it. Observe and remember, and learn from each situation. It's what I try to do.

I've had the same problem myself at times, but after a while I learned to just let things go. Sometimes that kind of crap gets the better of me of course, but I've learned to stifle it. It just takes time and practice.

i regret everything i say too. in fact i wrote a similar post last night but... then i removed it because i already thought it was dumb. then i think i am dumb to worry because no one cares about me enough to really be paying that close of attention, which makes me angry too... anyway. shrug. i do stuff like that all the time. yay! cat fights! and then... wait, not-yay! uh. yeah. so anyway, i don't really have any helpful advice... but i am glad you posted this.

Everything you say will be taken down and used against you.

It is a fact of life.

The cat fight guy was digging his own grave with pet lovers, and you earned points.

I am willing to bet more people like cats than like him.

When you catch me reading comic books in class, please do not mention it.

High School is just abuse to prepare you for the real world of work, it is like Boot Camp is for killing.

Hi! I am your Sergent. Everything you were told about right and wrong, the sacred value of human life, was just to keep you from killing your parents and teachers. Everything about fair play, meaning, was a scam. Here is the real deal, we kill people for vauge reasons you would not understand, but you can learn to get good at it.

As I told my kid, High School is where you meet all the kids, and learn to hate them. Only 30% will got to the University, half of all Freshmen drop out, or flunk out, less than 25% go on to a Degree. All you have to do is be in the top 25%, and you will never see any of these people again. She studied hard. She is an A student at the University.

Oh, so catfight meant fight between actual CATS! I thought it was a fight between women :o I'm so dense sometimes

Well, I like what Inventor said, there definitely are more people who like cats than who like that jerk. I wouldn't want to watch either fight, myself.

Don't worry about this High School cr*p, my experience was that I couldn't do anything right enough for those people, they just want to look down on someone to make themselves feel better. You could be anybody, it has nothing to do with who/what you are, you're just handy for them to use right now. It's nothing personal.

Actually, it's funny, once I got out of school and encountered my abusers occasioally alone, they acted like we had been FRIENDS! LIKE THEY WERE GLAD TO SEE ME! Must've reminded them of the good ol' days, kicking the geeks with their pals.

Don't let them get you down on yourself; we love you. You're excellent exactly the way you are :D

That is great advice and I'm going to tell my son that.

I've felt the same way many times before. Don't let them bother you and find more accepting and mature people to hang out with.
