I passed my GED with flying colors! Also, since I've already taken the ACT and did EXTREMELY well,I applied to a college in Mississippi(boo...)and will be an official college student in the spring! It's a junior college, but 6,000 people go there. And it's the college with the most gays in Mississippi! I'm gonna have me some fuuuuun....

But,thanks to everyone for your support. Wish me luck!

*Rushes to look up "GED" and "ACT" in Wikipedia, skims introduction text quickly...*
Congrats, both with the exams and with the fact that you seem to have found a place that's nice to people who are a little bit "off the beaten track"... :D

Tail winds and safe landings at your upcoming college!

Hi, Berserker.

GED is the high school equivalency test, for people who dropped out of high school and later want to earn a high school diploma.

ACT tests include English, Math, Reading, Science Reasoning and, optionally, Writing. Colleges use this test to decide on admissions and possibly scholarships, as I understand it. I never took the ACT tests myself. I got into college without taking them; I guess they're not always needed, I'm not sure when they are.

SpaceCase-

Good job! It's excellent that you got into the college you wanted. My mom took the GED, I remember how hard she had to work for it. Congrats!

Neither did I, as I took the SAT. I don't really know what the difference is between the ACT and the SAT.

I don't think we have them in Australia.

College is about sex, hey, it keeps them off the streets. Sure, education too, right Mom!

When I looked I found they had a great Art Department. It seems to be the State Art School. So you get what you get.

May you and all the others who are breaking free of growing up have wild parties.

I spoke with several department heads there, and they were really cool people. Aspie me, they dealt with it.

You worked hard, and now deserve to retire to a life of pleasure.

The first part of life, they try to change you, when that fails, you go to college and they try to develop what is there. You have a lot to start with, these are what we call the best days of our lives, so "Get it while you can."
