I just got turned down by a guy I really like I feel like I wanna die right now, this is like 1 of the many rejections I've had in my life & I hate it *cries* & the other guy that likes me I don't like him I like the dude I got turned down by isn't that crazy? I guess I always go for a guy I can't have. :(

If you don't get rejected a lot, you're doing something wrong. Honestly, dating is a numbers game and you have to approach a lot of guys (or girls) before one works out. You will get over him and find someone else you like. I wish I had learned this earlier. So don't feel bad about it!

Yes.

Easier said than done... but don't tie up your worth in whether or not a certain person approves of you or wants to date you. It doesn't mean there's anything wrong with either of you. It just means that this is the wrong match or the wrong time.

Don't feel guilty about not liking the guy who likes you, either. That's okay, too!

*sigh*

If I can only impart one piece of advice, it will be this. Your status in high school? unimportant. teenage awkwardness? you'll grow out of it.

and some day you'll look for the person who rejected you on MySpace and mess with his head, just because you can.

It ain't crazy that you feel that damn bad after that rejection... obviously as aspies we get hellishly affected by this stuff... it's one of the very hardest parts of life absolutely for an aspie...

Look - I can empathize to a t... I've had some hellishly hard things to put up with recently that was kinda rejection related as the main thing...

I'm really sorry. :( I don't really know what to say to help... because with aspies you can't say 'move on' or 'put it behind you' and I hate it when people say that...

But if it's of any help, talk to me anytime. I will do my utmost to help.

Stay strong. Hang on in there.
And yeah - teenage years are like the dark ages for us aspies it seems. :(

Have a real good cry. Then stop, pick your broken feelings off the floor, and go out and get back into circulation. That's the way the rest of us do it AS or NT.
