Please, don't harm yourself. :(

Anything in particular behind it?

I have done that when younger, to release the chaos - did not work of course.

Please do not do it, as there is the whole Aspie community there for you.. reach out and ask..

I don't get this whole cutting thing... I hear that psychological hormones are released by it... Still does not seem justifiable for anyone.. remember, those scars will be there for the rest of your life...

Self harming is addictive and I advise you to stop while you can. Tell someone you trust about this and the problems that you are having.
I know that sometimes it's easier to release the pain my self harming, rather than talking about it. But, unless you talk about it, you are not going to get rid of the problem, only make it worse by creating a literally deadly addiction to go with it, which will further decrease your self esteem.
I hope you feel better soon...please get some help.

Are you punishing yourself? Or just need stimulation?

Ugh, I can't imagine cutting myself. When I was younger, I would instead bang my head onto a hard surface. Cutting just scares me.

Yeah.

I still do sometimes. I also punch and scratch.

But cutting... no.

Yes. This is all very true. If you happen to cut in the wrong place, it can actually paralyze you too. It's very dangerous. I have had some friends who cut, and it killed me to seem them hurt themselves. It's not your fault. Please don't punish yourself. I have heard that it stops working after awhile anyway, making things even worse. We are all here to help you, and I bet most of us will understand you completely. So please don't take it out on yourself. You are welcome to take it out on us anytime you like.

As logical as that is, as a semi-recovered cutter I can say that when you're in the state where you want to cut, it's something you really couldn't give a f**k about.

Nonetheless, it is a bad idea, and it doesn't solve anything.

Btw, SC, you seem to have been sad for a long while. I saw all those pictures of you that you posted a while back and you looked so sad in all of them, and you were talking about how you wanted to kill yourself before but then decided against it... do you have clinical depression or something? What are you doing in your life? (No pressure.) Maybe you need to be on antidepressants, or stimulants or something.
