Am hate them so much.
Yesterday,am had took the local cat inside,to stay in bedroom for a bit [with door closed].
One of the staff from downstairs came up [this is the guy who complained about to staff and managers am being 'racist' for having the main coon cat club logo on door and ruined the logo in an attempt to censor it] and came into bedroom,he went on saying am not allowed him in bedroom [the home owners say it's okay,there's no one with cat phobias or allergies here...] am had the cat on knee,with arms around him,rocking as was getting in a bad way being overloaded with his constant information overload,he suddenly dragged the cat out of arms and put him out the door,having no way to come out of the overload it got further in until meltdown.

Tonight,am went to get the cat in again,and the staff stopped am,she said am not allowed him in bedroom because David doesn't like cats [David does not have a cat phobia,or allergy and has actually stood next to the cat watching him eat], am do not understand how anyone can have control of someone elses bedroom,what gives them the right to say am not allowed a gentle,friendly and quiet cat in own bedroom,behind closed doors,what gives them the right,to give the right to another resident whether he stays in this bedroom or not?

am actually overheard another staff outside the room saying to him,it's his choice and his place,does he want him in this bedroom or not,they were repeating it over and over.
bastards.
if david wants to pay all the care bills,the home rent and so on for am to have the right over this room,he can do,but he doesn't.
he actually said he was okay with it,but they kept ignoring that.


The social worker said at a meeting today,am unsuitable for this home,and should be in somewhere more secure
,the staff here added in how much of a burden am on david.
Am fed up of being made out to be a naughty/bad person by staff at every council home have been to because they cannot understand autism and complex needs.
Am only just moved to this home in december,and they said over and over,am would not be moving again,it was perfect.
Am spent entire savings on getting bedroom done up last month,and have no savings left-have texted sister about all this [she speaks for am at meetings] and she said there should be compensation for new decoration/floor as they will be getting this lot for free.

The social worker is going to look for a place that will accept cats as well.
Am have been having meltdowns today because of all this going on,and have been cutting again,how long will they keep moving am about like this? the last home am was not even in for a year,and here-since december,have started to think about moving back to family home to avoid having to cope with these problems again,but suddenly come back to reality and realise moving back home would bring on regression,not to mention having to live with a drunk mum and long term building site work now going on out the back.

Family have even asked them before,why can't am live in a national autistic society home instead of council res. home,they came up with a load of excuses,including one about them not giving funding for a place due to already getting funding to one of their day centres.
The home staff even asked the social worker today if there was any autism specialist residential homes in the council service-and he said there is but am need to be with one other resident at the most.

An autism pysch. am know well actually came in this week to give all the staff autism training for am,what am do not get is how the staff can still ignore this and go around saying how hard david gets it,living with am.
Am have to admit,he has made a few changes for am to live here,but hardly sacrifices,am have been blamed for staff asking him to turn his tv or radio down when am did not have a problem with them.

Hope tomorrow can bring something better than this.

being messed about by social services a lot myself at the moment with housing and support, was told i had a place in one but went to visit and they said there were no places! was completely stressed out with all that, crying, biting etc.

NAS houses can be a bit random, some are good, some bad. a friend of mine is having a terrible time in one and is desperate to get moved out, but her social workers are messing her about too and refusing to do anything (she has an awful housemate who has tantrums and meltdowns, he is really scary, he threatens her then accuses her of threatening him, then calls the police... the police even came round and 'threatened' her with being rehoused! now she doesnt know what to think) he should be in hospital really.

other NAS houses round here are really good though. think someone has a cat in one but he is on his own, i've heard of people having rats and guinea pigs and a rabbit in shared houses. unfortunately i have a cat allergy its annoying because i love cats (or at least cats love me, they always come up to me) and will stroke and fuss over them until i cant breathe.

God, social services can be a***holes.

why is it that there are so many total bastards in the mental healthcare system? Not to mention idiots. I cant believe that health care worker is stupid enough not to know that a Maine Coon is a breed of cat and has nothing to do with the racial term. Maybe he should look it up online. Sounds like the idiot that thinks the work 'reneg' is a racist term. Are they trying to get you and David to be enemies? I hope you get into a better place with people who actually know something about AS.
