lately i've been having these rediculous mood swings. last night i was hyper as hell for a few hours, then in the span of maybe 2 minutes i crashed and felt tired and stuff. today i was happy, i was going to go to the gym for my workout with the rest of the rowing team, then my mom started talking to me, nagging me, etc. and now i really just want to flip on someone and really don't want to go anywhere. i've got to go to a super bowl party later today with my sister and her fiance (love them both) but i don't really know anyone else there so it'll be stressful.

I'm really on the verge of having a meltdown. i haven't had one in a long time but i'm getting f*****g close right now.

p.s. i've been officially diagnosed with adhd and the psychologist mentioned that he suspected AS during the follow-up.

Personally my mood swings dont get rediculous unless someone pushes me over the edge. Maybe someone is doing the same to you? I love the thread title btw lol.

well living at home has caused stress. i got the option of living at home and getting a car ('92 honda accord, nothing fancy or expensive) or housing in town because i'm going to school in town (albeit 45 minutes away in traffic). my mom's annoying the hell out of me alot, i don't know if it's all her fault or a combination of things. i wanted to move out this year but the two guys i was supposed to move in with fell through (maybe for the best though) so i'm at home in my second year of university, turning 20, and i'm stressed the hell out about it.

there are other things going on, like my constant feeling of failure, but i think living at home is a big stresser in my life right now.

Yup, I can relate totally. Unfortunately I dont really have any solutions for you though.. I mean, if our parents are alike there is obviously no way to change them so the most you can do is whatever you can to feel better about the situation or at least find something you like to use as a distraction.

haha that's the problem, i use my computer as a distraction and my mom keeps saying i'm a "slave" to this thing and that just annoys me more. i'm not a slave, i like talking to people, i like to research things, she doesn't seem to realize that this is the same thing as watching television, except that it's more mentally stimulating than tv.
