Yeah, during a time when my doctors were seeing what would happen if they stopped my meds (I felt like a lab rat) for a while, I was behaving really badly, my dad threatened to send me to an aspie-only private school. The doctors put me back on my meds, I got better, I looked at the schools because I was bored, they looked PERFECT. I wanted to go so badly, but now my dad said it was an empty threat, he is looking for ways to pay for it but can almost definately not afford to send me. I got my hopes up so high that I could go somewhere that I would be understood, meet other aspies, be away from the pains of a public school, but now I am probably not gonna be able to go.

That is very frustrating.

You should know, though, that sometimes these schools sound better than they really are.

I did a lot of research at one time about high schools that take either all aspies, or a combination of aspies and other kids with learning disabilities. I know that I found a couple of sites that had reviews of the schools, and while some of them had glowing reports of what life was like at these high schools, there were some schools where the reviews said that there were problems with differing abilities with the students, and how it was problematic to give all students a similar education when the differing abilities sometimes got in the way.

Do some research of your own into this. You may find a school that you would like, a school that would take you on with partial tuition -- one part your parents would pay, and the other part might be donated, or you could do a work/study situation. There are all sorts of possibilities out there -- and maybe you could work something out with the school.

I'm so sorry.

I don't think I would have survived the 'normal' school system and was glad to get out of it. my boarding school was no bed of roses (Can you imagine wanting to learn in a lesson where 90% of the pupils have some extent of ADHD and your the only one with an interest in that subject) and we were a mix of kids with all sorts of social and learning problems (only a small minority aspie) it was seldom a state of all happiness and joy (I spent a lot of my time finding somewhere to hide and cry).
That said I believe being at a boarding school does prepare you far better to look after yourself when you get out into the big bad world.

My dad is looking for ways to pay for it, I looked around and found numerous ways, including partial funding from the government, creating a special account so that the money is taken off the top of his pay, un-taxed, and sueing the school. (the school is supposed to pay for private schooling if they cannot provide an acceptable learning enviroment, now I need to figure out what can be declared unacceptable).

I'm glad to hear your dad is on your side.
Dad's can be good like that :)

Whatever the outcome I wish you good luck.
