my cat Clawdia...a.k.a Clawdyclaw, Babyclaw and so on...around 2-ish this afternoon I saw her laying in the street.
I am feeling too emotionally drained to alborate at the moment.

She was my baby...

I remember when my budgie Shawn died. I was distraught

Then the bird I named after my bf was killed by Shawn's old mate.

I howled.

Sorry to hear this. It's so sad when pets die because you don't really have a chance to say goodbye. But at least she was loved during her lifetime.

Clawdia is a great name for a cat, btw.

I'm so sorry! My cat died a year ago from being ran over as well, and although it still hurts, it gets easier as time goes on. Don't be afraid to cry, and don't get another cat right away. That's NOT a good idea, as you'll compare the new cat to the positive things you remember about your old cat, and that will prevent you from moving on.
Wish you all the luck sweetheart, and please stay strong. Imagine Clawdia sleeping in the clouds in heaven (Even you don't believe in God, think of a better place where she probably is)

My friend who is aspie says cats are also aspie, I'm going to start a thread asking people's opinion on this in your cats honor.I'm glad you had your sweet little friend and I am very sorry for your loss.

I'm sorry to hear that. I've felt the same way, when my first dog, Taffy died.

I keep having flashbacks of seeing her lying in the street. And now I just thought I saw her walking down the ramp (I live in a warehouse with lots of ramps).

Our other cat Lovey, I think is just starting to notice that she is missing.

I have other troubles too, which belong in another thread..in the haven as well...

Still really too emotionally drained to type...

When I'm older and raising cats (if I don't die for some reason) I'm going to be horrified to let them outside. I don't think I could live if my cat got ran over. I was in the car when someone ran over a cat and we both cried.

I am sorry for your loss poopylungstuffings.

Whenever I think about cats I think about a saying I once heard.

Dogs: You feed them, pet them, take care of them, love them... they think you are god.
Cats: You feed them, pet them, take care of them, love them... they think they are god.

we have one less god on the planet. I hope you are coping okay.
