Basically, I rarely say a great deal on here but, this is one time I'll make an exception to the rule in general..Lately, I've been getting somewhat discouraged not merely with trying to make honest, sincere friends within the area in which I live but, that issue is not that troublesome cause, I suppose since my terrible history of not only trying to facilitate and maintain friendships for the past 16yrs now more than likely it's hard to get beyond the potentiality of vicious circles happening over and over again.

2nd, speaking of the area of occupation this too has presented some challenges as, I've been doing my utmost best to follow & learn some computer training coursework which, is meant to help me become certified as a Computer Support Technician- a fancy way of saying, someone whom fixes your computer from viruses or spyware as well, does computer upgrades and hardware installation.. The hurdle that arises in this particular area mainly comes in the form of the potential employer whom, seems to feel that I'm not as qualified to fullfill the requirements for the job in that, I'm getting this notion that another potential job candidate has already been found and I'm been giving the run-around i.e. not simply stating that certain abilities or liabilities tend to deter me from carrying out the skills required within the occupation I'm trying to gain entry into.. :?

Basically, I've actually felt like telling my vocational rehabilitation counselor that, more than likey I'm not suited for the career I've been not only spending time and financial upon but, more to the point maybe, I'm better off with being assigned to an area of employment for an individual whose IQ is likely in the range of 82 or less.
Please, take no offense at the previous comment it's just that in the past couple of years I've often found myself in jobs that tend to reflect such a comment. However, may I add that my AS has not been the sole deterrent in my quest for substantial employment but, that 8yrs ago I suffered a coma which, at the time no one had told me that such could affect my mental wellbeing over the long term. Generally speaking, short term & long term memory tends to be very screwed up these days while at times I actually have to write things down just to actually remember things.. :(

Anyways, I chose to post this with the sincere intention of meaning that, there can be times when not all people in the Autistic Spectrum whom represent the good case scenarios..
