It started off harmless enough.. just cleaning stuff but they worked really good so I bought some more and then I bought some more. I cant honestly see myself getting through a normal day now without a few wipes. Ok fine I admit it Im up to fifty maybe sixty a day now. I have one in my hand right now and Im embarrased to say what Im doing with it.

There was a time that I was so addicted to Pledge, that I'd dust my parents' furniture, every day when I came home, from school. I was about 12, and I loved the smell of it. Perhaps, I should try the lemon wipes. How much do they cost? Don't worry about it. There are worse things to be addicted to.

That's a great scent. We always had lemon scented cleaners whenever possible when I was growing up. If lemon wasn't available, we got pine. Pine was okay back then.

Oh yes, another household cleaner junkie (I thought I was in the cedar-scented closet alone). I am partial to pine-sol and I like lemon scented pledge too. Windex made a yucky product - flower scented spray window cleaner. I haven't seen it any longer at the market though. It had an odd chemicl scent. I secretly have a dedicated pantry shelf to various household cleaning products. Indulges my neat-nick facet. Plus it's all about the chemical esters. I love mountain fresh scent laundry sheets.

Inhaling fumes from these cleaning products may not be any better for than sniffing glue or correction fluid. 8O

I cant help but smell them.. but I am not
intentionally "sniffing" them to get high or
whatever. This morning I folded a few of
them into a hat.

the active ingredients are:

0.14% dimethyl ethylbenzyl ammonium chlorides
0.14% dimethyl benzyl ammonium chlorides
and 0.8% isopropyl alcohol

Perhaps this isnt even a problem worth mentioning
but as much as I enjoy them, I feel a need to stop
using them.

I dislike the idea of being addicted to anything.
A friend suggested I switch to the little wet wipes
in the individual packages. Im sure they would be
less dangerous due to the chemicals involved, but
probably just as habit forming.

True; however, I have no addictive disorders (except maybe OC cleanliness). And I don't inhale :drunken:

I think your priority should be getting rid of those chems. I dont know offhand whether their particularly hazardous either - which is exactly why you should ditch them (the precationary principle)
Youd probably be amazed how toxic some common household products are- big corporations own them so they dont get banned for decades. Some things stay in your system for years.

Maybe buy some lemon-scented eco-friendly alternatives made from natural things?
tbh we should all be doing that anyway :)
