Do your social skills go to pot when you get nervous? I had a major problem with today at my silly part time job. I'm usually good at it but when i get nervous it's like it is my first day.

Yea, they do. I usually can pretend well enough that most people don't notice, but if I'm nervous or stressed, they get BAD. Like, nonexistant bad.

Hence why I caint keep a job more than a couple months. :(

I believe everyone's social skills go to pot when nervous, AS or NT.

It's just AS get nervous ABOUT their social skills.

(Oh dear, I'm beginning to use WP jargon...)

My social skills go to pot regardless. In fact, they're always there.

No. Well, worse. I lose my speech.
Plus my painful shyness overtakes me.
Strangers are just scary. I do try. I cannot 'read' another and I just feel....lost!

My social skills will go if someone is upset with me. Unfortunately so will my intelligence which usually makes things worse.
