Are you too different?

Let's mutually complain about it.

I real life I'm a complete odd ball.

But here I seem very ordinary.

Yes probably in here as well as real life although I find that I can get away with much more stuff here.

I admit, I'm a bit guilty of following the herd even though I'd rather be the wolf than the sheep.

It's all so confusing to me.

I am very happy with how different I am, though some around me consider it excessive.

I live in a very homogeneous Orthodox Jewish community. I don't fit. I conform outwardly (as everyone around here does), but I have very little in common with any of my neighbors.



Think Different!

God, I thought aspies had a gift for complaining.
I guess we are sorta the only ones.

Sometimes I feel that way, sometimes I feel more normal then the average Aspie

I am the dingo that somehow wound up in America. I tried to join a wolf pack but they noticed something was different about me when I went and ate the farmer's baby while they ate the farmer's sheep. They wouldn't let me in the pack. I can't even fit in with the wolves. That's how different I am.

When I was a kid, I was alway picked last in sports, and in mostly everything else...

Ya same here, I was never picked in any sports game, unless it was hockey, I was a very good goalie. I was always the odd one in any school I was placed, I had to change to alot of different schools because of my attention span, 3 elementary schools, 1 school for my ADHD problem, 1 Jr high school that I was absent from most of the time, then I was put into a place for disturbed kids, which was the wrong place for me since I was in no way disturbed, and finally 2 different high schools, but only went there to play hockey, and never studied. I never fit into any school, I am mostly self taught, right from kindergarten I was labeled as having dyslexia, or stupid from my teacher, and that label stuck with me though every school where I grew up, it was my dad who taught me to read, and to love reading and books, something I have never would have gotten from going to these schools, all I ever received was abuse, both emotional and physical.

I had teachers too who made fun of me to the whole class.
