My Obsession

When does a obsession goes from something good to bad in a instant? When do u know when your overobessed with something, when nothing else matters? When do u know you've really lost it & became insane? When do u know when u can't tell sanity from insane? I know it's unhealthy to be obssessed by 1 person but it's hard not to be when you live,eat & breathe just to see a gimpse of them helps u thru the day.

i dont tend to notice the warning signs of an obsession becoming a problem until it is a problem

my new obsessions are accommodated by dropping others ad infinitum

obsessing about people can be dangerous though, be careful

I think people obsess over someone because they either wanna be them or that something they say or do helps them thru the day.

Gosh i'm trying to express what i'm feeling right now but it's not coming out right darnit i hate when that happens

Keep trying. We've all been there. We're listening.

I've been obsessed with people I've wanted to be or wanted to be better than. When it got really bad, I had the feeling that they'd "stolen" my life from me, were living the kind of life I would have been entitled to. I guess it's a kind of madness, but the feeling passes.

It's been my experience that anytime you're obsessed with somebody who isn't obsessed with you, you've got a situation that ain't too good.

Maybe the next poster's got a solution, but I don't.

These days I only get obsessed with things that don't have an opinion about me, maybe because I'm never around any females except the grocery store checkout ladies and my daughters. That works better. But I don't have much choice about what I get obsessed with, so it ain't like I'm being intelligent.
