Pufferfish are hot.

I listen to music and read poetry to fill the void. If things get too bad, I cut my arms.

I will confess that when things get very difficult for me, I claw my arms up. I currently have four scars on my arms that I keep reopening because my medication is NOT working for me. (The NHS has been playing with my antidepressants and I'm starting to feel tugged every which way.)

When I feel better, I can calm myself by blogging or by going out and taking photographs. Or I'll read my books on architecture, which always interest me because the buildings I study are so beautiful and so practical at the same time.

I like running or hiking, and just letting my mind flow. Creating something to completion that can be picked up or felt gives me a sense of accomplishment that my normally scattered brain loves. I've never cut, but I used to love punching walls when I was younger. Same thing I would imagine. I still get angry, but I try to reason and meditate my way out of it.

I had a horrible void I was afraid of falling into. I tried to stimulate myself as best as I could going on shopping sprees and making like 50 friends on WrongPlanet. And taking Celexa. I'm better now. :)

I've yet to fill my void. To fill it, I need to find what's missing. No matter what I try to do to fill it, nothing will be an adequate substitute for what I really need...which I don't even know what that is.

I cut myself, and bite myself.
I also drink if I'm really stressed out (which is mostly everyday, on Friday night (last Friday) I had to go to hospital because I'd drunk too much...
A short-term solution to a long-term problem, but eh it works for now.

I cut once to fill the void. It didn't work.

Then I tried to dehydrate myself with salt. Just made it worse.

Now I try to talk to the people I care about. It helps a bit. Not bottling things up... it's good.
