I'm increasingly feeling like I am a pain to you guys just by being here. I have been having a bit of guilt about complaining of problems that aren't as great as others, so I wanted to make sure I wasn't a problem for anyone. However, I still can't shake it that I am.

Not at all, it is not a contest, but a serch for understanding, and coping, so you cope better?

Thank you very much - I almost felt like I was wasting people's time.

Nobody's problems are too trivial!
Nobody is a pain.

Hi Vashna

I feel like that sometimes too, I feel its partly us aspies tend to over worry, think, analyze things to much.

^ I feel as though I'm a pain myself. I have a rather high post count and I can't say for sure what percentage of it is me ranting about how crumby my life is. But this is a support site, it's a place for aspies or NTs if they want to seek help.

And to get something off of my chest, anyone that insults other members for posting about their problems and seeking help are pitiful. Like I said, THIS IS A SUPPORT SITE. Let me spell it out for them, S-U-P-P-O-R-T S-I-T-E, support site. Support means (I know what it is, but I'm using this definition to look smart :nerdy: ) to uphold by aid or countenance; to aid; to help; to back up; as, to support a friend or a party; to support the present administration. That is exactly what this site is for. Maybe those that put others down are the ones that really need it the most, but that's just a thought......

As for Vashna, I've only seen you a couple of times so you're not bothering me. I don't think you're bothering anyone, nor is anyone else. :)

I think we're all equally troubled here. After all, who the hell put us on Earth?

Not a pain in the least! I still feel awkward here, that despite my efforts to get involved that I am still unnoticed or unknown... but one keeps trying, else we risk staying on one place.

People have said I was a pain for complaining about my problems, how I whined, wanted to be the center of attention all the time, but I'm not going anywhere.

I'm afraid that I haven't really noticed you here - so you're certainly not a pain to me. In fact, you should become louder..

"Should I vent or not? I don't want to fight and have trouble." Ah the concept..

That is one reason I hate the line "this is a whine" or other replies like "deal with it" or whatever. Though I admit I blasted someone once, but only once mind you. Tim, apologies. Some people think "Oh what you feel about problem A, is nothing compaired to problem B, so I'm going to go ahead and get offended." Little do they know sometimes that it disscourages freedom to feel emotion openly. So it isn't as "deep" as others.
