My mom and my case manage told me not to say anything about all that pschiatry stuff and the hospitaliations to the person. Somehow that had access to my records before i sighned consents, and she basicaly told me i was full of bs when i said nothing about all this stuff, and my dad told her all about me, and then i fessed up and now she wants all my records. It felt like a prostate exam.

Ya that sounds like a load of crap, you don't have to take abuse like that from anyone, what type of aspie group was it.

hmm. If its this common, maybe I should sue the psychiatric hospital I was in. i was there voluntarily and from the day after I arrived they knew what put me there had nothing to do with psychiatric illness, and everything to do with temporal lobe seizures.

I told them not to speak to my mother, but gave them permission to speak to my dad and my sisters. They had a conversation about me with my mother (my mom is the kind of person who will lie and do everything in her power to create problems so that's why I didn't want them to talk her. If she thought it would cause a problem, she'd tell them I had a gun under my bed which I used to target shoot at passing cars.)

The doctors never mentioned talking to her about me, but she took their talking to her as my consent for her to regain contact with me (i'd officially cut her out of my life a year before and wasn't planning on attending my sisters wedding because she'd be there -as it was I was in the hospital for the wedding) But my mom told how the doctor asked her to send a copy of the email where I described in detail how I hated her. She claimed she reinforced to him that my childhood neurologist said i always got really angry like that after a seizure because it was my brains way of coping -no idea if she actually said that or was just lying though


I'd ask her why your records are necessary and why she was able to get information about your medical history with your consent. Also find the appropriate body to throw out there in the conversation - ie when dealing with a business whose giving you a problem you always mention the BBB to get their attitude to change quickly

why do i have to take this crap just to get social skills support? 75% of the time she didnt even talk about aspergers she asked about all this psych crap.

I've been "hospitalized" before. More like locked up. Shephard Pratt sucks ass. They never gave me an ounce of treatment, and I had to stay there for a week and a half. They even admitted that I was fine the whole time, yet they wouldn't release me. They tried to keep me over the weekend to get an extra 4500 dollars (it was 1500 a night) but my parents finally got off their lazy asses and got me out of there. They threatened to torture me for standing in front of the TV! I said sorry and moved out of the way, but the psychotic guy said I was starting trouble, so they wanted to strap me down and torture me. I had to take cold showers, and I stayed in my room all day and read a book. The patients there were more sane than the staff. They initially put me in the drug abuse unit (???????) and I had to strip for these guys and wear a plastic sheet all day. They took away my pillow, and I couldn't use the bathroom cause they locked it. So yeah that place sucks.

the interview therapist talked to mom and it seems everything is order. I will most likely start soon. I am still a little peeved they got my records without me asking. I might report that to protection and advocacy.
