Feeling alone again

I am starting to get this feeling like no one here likes me...I suppose I need to go somewhere else... :cry:

I was just starting to like this place too. I seem to keep pissing people off and it seems to be happening here. Why does it feel like no one wants to talk to me?? Did I piss anyone off?? If I did, I am sorry...

I guess my past has made me very sensitive to losing friends and being alone.

a) suffer
b) change it
c) get used to it

Its ok, I guess I am a little sensitive, I just recently found I have asperger's( official dx pending), and I have alot of issues from growing up that make me sensitive.

Thats the exact way I feel at school. If people don't talk to me, I automatically wonder what I did wrong, even if there is just a normal reason why they aren't speaking to me.

Try not to take it too personally. Sorry, I'm useless at advice :roll:

i know this, too. i was there, always wondering what i did wrong. always trying to find the mistake on my side. we need to work on our self-esteem. i always say that we care too much, others seem to be more careless, or carefree?

I like you. This is a good place to talk. I think we understand each other better than we can communicate in a simple way.

It is extremely difficult to avoid misunderstanding, in real live and even more difficult in the web.
One and the same sentence can be read in different ways and something written just as a plain comment may be interpreted by the reader as offensive or rude. Especially if the reader is in any kind of bad mood already.

And in writing people try to keep things short, since typing takes longer than talking. Another source of misunderstanding. Like the comment from tomamil, who only wanted to give you some information.

This happened to me too. Sometimes I just don't read the forum and a question can be different too, expecting different kinds of answering and understanding. Maybe it would be a nice idea to give the pages of The Haven a different background color, so it's more obvious.

And it takes much more time in the web to get friends. People just don't care too much about somebody who may live at the other end of the world. And it's more difficult to remember somebody you know only by name and a little avatar picture, which may even change once in a while.

Don't give up this place.
