so it started very awesome....
had the usual support staff from the national autistic society till this afternoon-went to the local shop with her to buy a packet of redbull and one small bottle of bacardi breezer [tropical orange] for tonight, and afterwards had the best support staff ever-Jo,whom had been with am at previous residential home and has now been transfered here.
she took am for a walk to the park as all the kids were gone, and both got the nicest pizza ordered in from dominos with those chicken stripper things.
david [another resident,am wasnt allowed cats here because they said he hated them and had a cat phobia] sat in bedroom with am and jo for ages stroking and tickling GFB-sat up very close to him as GFB was stretched out dribbling and purring away on the bed-he said he never hated cats, and it was the cat hating staff and Davids brother who got them banned from here-so have finally found an answer to this anti catism.

where it started to go wrong...
Jo was just about to go off shift, and took am to the downstairs unit so she could watch am whilst waiting for the waking night staff to come on to take over,am find out when get into the office that this night staff is someone completely different to routine and agnes is never coming back again because her visa expired today and she has been sent back to her old country until she can apply for another one [it's bolla on weds/thurs/fri/sun and agnes on mon/tues] the new lady is someone am do not know, and went into meltdown in the office.

Jo had to go afterwards as her daughters were late being picked up from MA,and am went outside and didnt stop running/walking,went through all the alleyways as its a good way to lose staff and ended up at a dark, dead end road sat on the wet road behind a big white transit van.
there was a house opposite, and after a while of speed rocking and lining up white stones,a man came out and tried to help,he was ok but he went back in and unknown to am,he had phoned the police.

am had come running out of the home with the bacardi breezer shoved up sleeve of hoodie, and because of only being able to think of running off,had not been able to think of putting the bottle down, which was bad because had heard that having open alcohol containers on the streets is arrestable.

am didnt realise the cops had come at first, they didnt even have their sirens on,they were extremely friendly and understanding, they didnt whip out cs gas [or whatever its called] ,ties or restrain am,despite the behavior am have, the home manager had phoned them to report am missing so they got the details from that, and brought am home in their car-had showed them the bottle of drink and they said it was fine and not to worry about it.
One of the home managers took am in to explain better why agnes wont be coming back, and the new lady was there, she said she has permenant visa to work here so wont be going home, and she likes cats a lot-and dont need to worry that she will be changing.

so am did a deal with the manager,he is bringing in his springer spaniel dogs next week if am give it a go being here tonight,am luckily have been drugged up most of the night on high dose of tegretol and cocodamol so it could have turned out a lot worse, the alcohol mix helped to.

had told them early on that want to go to mums, but she wont answer the phone because she owes money to capital one and thinks its them phoning her all the time, staff could have took am there but the bastard agency had not said anything about this to staff until the evening staff were going off shift.
they tried sister to-had only just got off MSN with her,but she wasnt answering her phone, this is her late night,
she might have got am as it was desperate but she lives in horwich.

anyway, have gone on enough [its hard knowing how much am writing as am having to do it with one eye, cant focus with both-cause of the meds and alcohol mix] but have often said on WP how much am rate GMP [greater manchester police] for respecting, helping and understanding the needs of autists, they have often got involved with staff for am because of meltdowns or things like sorting out lazy bastard people who are in the house but are too lazy to turn their agonising mega loud house/burglar alarm off,the police who know am,ask how am doing when walking down the street.
they really are awesome police, have never met a bad one here.

am still in shock over being brought home in a cop car,am waiting it to kick in fully because it always takes a while to process,am hoping am not going to get a lot of moaning off staff about this or lectures,or that the managers dont start adding even more alarms and locks to the doors for night [this seems exactly like what hteyd do,but it didnt happen upstairs anyway].

that stuff is called capsicum spray
there is also pepper spray.

the police took you home in their car because they wanted you to get home safe. its wonderful that they are so good to autistic people like you.

i wish you all the best.

Very glad the police understood. Especially about the bottle. I don't think they would have given you the same consideration here in the USA, but I am generalizing. I will admit I might be wrong.

I'm not sure what the deal is using the word "am" for both "I" and "me" but I'm not going to complain. Might be worth re-reading what you have written as there are a few things I do not understand. People have a habit of using abbreviations assuming they know what it is. I looked and there wasn't one.

I hope you wake up in the morning feeling refreshed anyway :)

Glad you got home safely, KingdomOfRats.

I'm sorry Agnes had to leave.

Those police officers sounded really nice.

I hope you feel better soon.

KingdomOfRats - I'm relieved your back to your place safely. But scary situation! Hope you feel better and let your cat take care of you. The police where you live do care - so do we.

Keith: I guess you don't know KingdomOfRats. She's a good friend and never uses the word 'I,' and maybe doesn't have a sense of the word 'I.' She uses 'am.' This is her way and pattern - just so you know. She expresses well and that's what matters.
