I have been trying to do something with my life, but there's one problem: my family not's really cooperating with that. Whenever I ask my mom to do something like go somewhere or get involved with any activites, either she doesn't want to do it, or makes up some dumb excuse like it's "too hot", "too far to drive", "too expensive", or "too cold" and that make me realize, will I ever do something with my life besides watching TV or going on the computer most of the time (or do you think that's the best for me for now)?

You should ask them how they feel about taking care of you for the rest of your life, which should be plenty long since you apparently won't have the stress of dealing with coworkers, paying bills, raising a family, etc.
