Or maybe it is, but why should I be bothered with it anymore?.......I mean life won't last forever so I might as well enjoy it as much as I can before it ends. Society distubs me yet I complain about how hard it is to find a job and how hard it is to acheive a status of sucess......well whats the point if I don't like it and it disturbs me why should I feel bad about not having gotten anywhere in society? To hell with it, I should live life to my standards not societies.

I feel like there is something beyond this screwed up society, and all the screwed up things that go on in the world.....something deeper, something that if you reach for too soon could very well drive you insane. But hey this reality kind of sucks so maybe insanity would not be such a bad thing. But either way this quite possibly the only life I have to live.......so its time I actually live rather than simply survive.

This might not make sense to anyone else, but I felt I should ramble a bit......I also am not sure why I posted this here I guess I figured less people would criticize me for being vauge and rambling here then in the other forum sections.

Well its not a terrible idea, but I don't really get into religious/spiritual stuff like that to such an extent I would want to devote my life to such a thing. But I definitly respect it as a good alternative to being a part of mainstream society, just not sure if it would be something I could get into.

Have you considered living in the woods as a hermit? Or being a hobo/tramp who travels around and works odd jobs for food? I'm hoping to buy some land in Oregon and live on it as a hermit. I think (personal opinion) that a lot of aspies in earlier eras were monks and nuns, or even priests, because they couldn't handle being around people and being a monk was the best way to avoid being around NTs.

Try Zen, it's totally atheistic.

I thought about becoming a monk for a while, but in the end I decided that I was probably looking to do that for the wrong reasons; a means of escape, rather than a heartfelt desire to become a full time meditator.

I sent you a PM a long time ago Sweetleaf, you never opened it, but the offer within still stands, as long as I can find time.

I've thought of it, but I figure I might not want to be a total hermit........I would rather live in the woods with a small group of people. I also have thought of the other and its still a possibility but again due to my dislike of being lonely I would probably prefer to have at least one other person with me.

Alright I will take a look, I am not always the best at responding to messeges in my inbox........but yeah that is why the monk thing probably would not work to well for me either I don't feel I am sincere enough about it, to pursue it.
