Some Christians have said that indifference is worse than hate; that saying, "I don't care about you" is an even worse sin than saying, "I hate you."
This was after I told them about some coke freak loser who had tried to goad and "guilt-trip" me into doing something stupid, and that when I told them that his methods were not only laughable, but that they were ineffective, as I can not be "guilt-tripped" into doing anything against my will.
Hatred is counter-productive to reason. I try to detach my self from the feeling of hatred towards somebody, partly to give me more "mental room" to resolve the situation, and partly so that I don't start retching and vomitting from the stress like some emo schoolgirl. I still feel the hate, but is has less influence on my physical and mental states.
