Try to calm down.

But yeah, I know what you mean. I don't feel comfortable unless I surround myself with books and clothes in my room. My bed is covered with books when I sleep and my mother can't stand it-- so she always moves them. She always cleans my room even when I insist that she doesn't, so she's always moving my things around. BLEH.

Tough beans.

My mom uses my stuff without asking.

when questioned, she usually says ''You live under my roof, don't you?''
Can't argue with that logic. wish she'd be a little nicer about it though.

I also found it very irritating when my family took my things and not returning it.

My friend takes stuff out of my backpack. I hate it.
I don't have a big family problem, but if something is out of place in my room, then I feel disorganized.

Nearly everything I own has my initials on it to avoid this.

Hide them, or buy a big lockbox (or several lockboxes, depending on how many things you have) and lock them up, and wear the key on a string. :)

Especially with bathroom products, just leave them in your room, if your brother is in the shower and reaches for his... then your shampoo and it's not there his isn't going to get out and go searching your room. Worked for me anyway.

i have this behaviour too. especially with my computers. No one can use my computers. When someone does, i get very nervous and keep yelling to pay attention, that "you're doing it wrong", or simply tell to user another computer. In general there is a space in my room (about half of the room, that is shared with my sister). where i don't want anyone to enter. it's not like i putt barriers or the red-white striped tape, only that if someonne is there, i get nervous. i know it's irrational, and often ignore the feeling and act normally. but the computer is off limit!

I hate it when it comes to computers. My brother asks me if he can use my computer, simply because he doesn't want to walk 10 feet to get his. When I resist, my parents yell at me for "not sharing".

I hate it when people touch my things, take my things, use them without asking, or act like I have too much stuff around. I need all of it. If you ask nicely I might lend you something. But if you do not? That is just rude.
