I realize there is no point in posting on wp or any other because it doestn change anything for me. It doesnt change how i feel, how i see things , make me able to change what im doing or help heal my brain. Telling people my stuff doesnt change anything for me and its very agravating.

Well, sometimes it makes you feel better to just rant it out.
Beyond that, I don't see much point myself, personally. I'm just not the "asking for advice" type.

I don't think a lot of people make posts to seek help for themselves but rather to share their experiences, good or bad, in order that other folks might be helped or at least that a lot of us are in the same boat.

Agreed with the first point, but I've always liked forums. You can talk to people like you and argue to your heart's content...

Forums are great. I'm obsessed with them and they're a great way to communicate with people without actually having to be right in front of them or use your voice. =]

In the Heat of the Nightbender topic

I appreciate your input, even if I do not agree with everything. I like to read others' points of view.

Please keep posting. :)

Yup. And you probably never get what you're looking for in replies? I figured that out a while ago.
It's good that you realized this. Post or don't post, just remember whatever change you need has to come from within.

Well-spoken. I have something to add - don't let your shadow overwhelm you too much :)

I've always felt that but for another reason - 90% of things I've ever posted have gone ignored or glossed over for other posts in a thread. Kinda makes you not want to bother.

Still, lesson learned - if you ever want help on a self help forum, register as female and put a hot avatar picture up (not your own, unless you fit the criteria). Immoral, but damnit if you won't get ten times the replies you would if you were a depressed ugly dude. :(
