I friggin hate how the smallest things will bother and if the same were to happen to anyone else, it wouldnt bother them. Like I'll easily get irritated or feel guilty. Idk like being overdramatic. I hate how I get so friggin anxious over really small things. Sometimes I will seriously feel really anxious over really stupid s**t. Im so self-conscience of myself yet I make the biggest fool out of myself. Its hard to balance this gosh. I have a problem were I will not do a lot of stuff Im suppose to yet do a lotta stuff that I shouldnt. And seriously sometimes its not even a big deal but...I'll still dwell on it. Like theres been times when every morning, I'll get up and feel guilty about something and even if I dont initially feel guilty, I'll then thinik of something. Im not sure of anyone even gets what Im saying.
princesseli, I understand what you're saying but I don't have any answers. It seems that many aspies also have anxiety issues as well. I'm not sure if that's because our brains are wired differently or due to the fact that we have to try to adjust to a world that doesn't understand us. Or both.
Hopefully someone with more personal experience relative to the anxiety you're feeling will post. There maybe tips or tricks to help you deal with the anxiousness you're feeling and if there is someone here will know them.
I hope things work out for you.
"you are not aloooone!"
with all my infernal screams, screams for tiny little gaming misses, internet disconnects, maybe i tilt something over w my elbow.
i... get... SO... furious
(i have ACTUALLY attacked pizza. yes. dont ask)
sometimes i have to fill my lungs, and scream again. its a miracle nobody called the cops yet

I used to be like this to some extent, you have to realize your nervous system is over sensitive and that can distort your judgement and personality, also in socializing (anxiety, etc) - you have to stop treating stuff like a math equation (i.e. there is a specific answer to this or that situation) and stop obsessing and over analyzing, stuff will still naturally come up but you just have to learn to ignore it. Stop feeling guilty, and take some time to make what you are saying clear, I'm pretty sure you're talking about
1) How other peoples behaviour / how the yinteract bothers you
2) How you interact with them and interacting with others is anxiety provoking because you don't want to do the wrong thing
am I right here?
Lab Pet is painfully conscientious. I do notice, for the most part, Neurotypicals are far more easy-going; I wish I could erase my conscientiousness. Certainly, everyone makes mistakes but I feel awful when I do. Even an innocent mistake or, worse, even if I didn't actually do anything wrong.
princesseli, if this is any consolation, I've cried when I've accidentally broken a piece of glassware (lab) even though everyone does this from time to time. At times I can become nearly hysterical. I wish I knew how to calm down too.
Umm...won't ask about the pizza attack. Hope no pizza was harmed in the incident ![]()
