I'm on my last nerve last inch of sanity, i'll try to shorten things up, my parents are ... i don't even know how to describe them. There rules, acctions, and reactions are illogical and confusing. My dad isn't so bad pretty much he just dosen't deal with emotions or comprimising at all, it's the same answer every time "because" ..... :wall: :wall: :wall: :wall:, no explantion, reason, not even a thought. Well my mom ... i don't know what to say, she yells, over reacts, and above all she cannot express saddness or any other type of depressive feeling ... she just gets angry and yells more, critizes me, says im faking everything, and other stuff ...

To make things worse :help: i have no out-let except here and one day a week with my doctor for 30 mins, and that is no where near enough time to get my stress out. My "happy place" (aka a calm quite and dark room perferrably mine) dosen't help any more, because now i can't lie down or lay on the couch with the lights off because my mom dosen't want me to accidentaly dose-off and sleep :wall: My mom is questioning me more now, and i have tried to talk face to face but she just says that "thats who she is, and that i should care for her feelings" , what about my feelings aaaahhhhh ... :wall: :wall: :wall: :wall: :wall:

Help any ideas? :?:

You don't say how old you are. Do you have a guidance counselor or
teacher or someone who's worth talking to? It might be worth a try.
Venting is good. It does a lot more than you might think.
Writing helps to organize your thoughts, people can give feedback...
I don't know what else to say, except that you have my sympathy.

Would your parents be up to having a family meeting where everyone can express their concerns and come up with a plan of action on how to best meet the needs of the family? When I was younger, I used to think it was the stupidest thing in the world, but my Dad insisted on it and I have to say, it really did help. Maybe then everyone can express themselves without tears, guilt trips, arguing etc. Our main rule was that no one could yell or interrupt. You had to hear the other person out. Call the meeting yourself with a list of your questions and concerns. Good luck. It sounds rough.

Yeah i tried family meetings i think i have done a total of 10-12 of them, and two results come from it, either everything is ok for about 3 days or so and then it all goes back up into flames, or it really dosen't do any thing because by the time we get home and next morning comes, we arise with the same problamatic issues again. To make things, better i also have school phobia so counseling isn't going to happen for a while, ... i know i'll make it through these tough times and eventually things will get better, i just have if you will " have high expectations with how my life is going", and when i can't make it to the classroom on my 5th try it really eats away at me. Thank you for your replies, though i do feel to an extent better than i did when originally posting this topic, i just needed to get it off my chest, and vent  , thanks

How old are you? What's the plan for when you finish high school?
"Short-timer's disease" can make everything seem worse then ever.
If you're looking at a five-year sentence, with no hope of early parole, you can curl up into a ball and wait, calmly if not contentedly. If you're looking at a three-month release date, it can make you crazy.

Kind of like -- I know you can't relate to this, but I feel like blabbering...

My second kid was five days late. I thought I was going out of my mind. I even told my sister, "Don't even try to cheer me up. I'm not falling for it. I know that you're all in on this. I died, and this is my own private hell -- to be eleven months pregnant for the rest of eternity."

Well I'm 15, so i still have about 3 different choices on what i want to do after high school, i can say that all three of them involve college and getting a masters degree in which ever one of the fields i choose. It will be either Aeronautical Engineering, IT Production and Engineering ( Computers Rock), or becoming a Lawyer. I do realize that all of them are going to take many enduring hours to accomplish however, "Nothing was ever accomplished with out some hard work!". 8)
