I think I should have that tatooed on my forehead. It doesn't seem like I can manage to do something without f**king it up. My career is in the toilet. All I want to do is to crawl into a dark cave, lie in a fetal position, and not emerge until I can figure out what's wrong with me.

An unsane society has been constructed around us. It's hard to get on when we're coshed with false priorities as soon as we're out of nappies.

I'd like to spend my life in a world not totally governed by the stresses of bills,careers,debts,image and all the other various and nefarious attendant claptrap that modern society declares we must obsess about *shrugs*

I wouldn't say it's your fault necessarily - the western world is patently nutz 2cents

LOL no absolutely not! but there are pockets to be found outside of it which are not unsane - I wished I'd taken the opportunity to stay in one and never come back when I had the chance - but there's no point in having regrets for such things *shrugs*and I wouldn't have my beautiful child if I had.

It boils down to working hard for the past 10 years to get to where I am growth-wise. Now everything is coming undone. I just can't get it together. I feel totally incompetent.

Hello my friend. Forehead tatts are not the answer. Screw the people who make you feel like crap. (well not literally. unless you want to.)

Might be easier to help if you explained what happened.

I can't get it together either. I've started to paint again, it's therapeutic for me.

Sometimes are worse than others, some are better than others. maybe try and ride it out and as zghost said if people are concerning themselves with making you feel like crap then screw them, that's their look out not yours!

Something I realized in the past year or so when I felt I was completely coming apart... that the coping skills I had learned - from school, from different jobs, from interactions - were no longer working, were creating more problems. Those skills I learned when young worked at that age, in that situation, but not now. Other people change, how people interact around me changes, so I cannot rely on these skills to always work. When they begin fail, I have to accept and begin to rebuild anew. It is painful, but I have found it worthwhile... keep breathing, and give yourself some slack.
