but There's this 17 year old kid in my electronics class who bothers me an awful lot. Things like messing with my hair, turning down my headphones and talking to me when its clear i don't want to be bothered. Sometimes it feels like he is flirting with me and it makes me uncomfortable. Personally i can't stand him. he doesn't wear deodorent. Makes fart noises . How can i be firm yet assertive.

he is harassing you. write a letter documenting what he did and give it to your counselor or school administrator. this is sexual harassment. it is illegal.

If you can, I'd try to report this. As Learning2Survive said, that's harassment.

Now, if you tried already to tell people and you get no results, keep going up the ladder, and get your parents' support if possible.

I think the first thing you should ask him to do is if he could leave you alone, and if he doesn't the best thing would be to tell someone.

1. Tell the teacher that he is making unwanted sexual advances towards you.

2. The next time he touches you, say in a loud voice, "Knock it off!"

3. If he touches you again, say in a loud voice, "Why can't you people hit on your own kind?"

4. If he doesn't stop, go to the principal, tell him that you've already complained to the instructor, and ask to be transferred out of that class.

It's not being mean, it's self-defense!

1-Disregard previous advice
2-Tell person to cease, by saying to them in private to stop bothering you
3-If step 2 doesn't work, ZEGH8578 is definately on the mark, it's TURURISTS!
