Hey all when I'm a bit down and I think everything sucks and s**t can't get any worse and there is no way out and all that dark soul s**t just starts caving in on ya I turn to comedy and it picks me up quite well, or if I'm bored and want to laugh at other peoples misfortunes.

Just gives me a nice feeling I'm not alone and I'm not the only one going through some stuff.

FMyLife - My life sucks but I don't give a f***

Not that I often derive pleasure from others' misfortunes, but those are hysterical. I literally busted up laughing when I read the 4th one.

The dissertation one is pretty soul crushing though, the more I think about it I don't really like that one 8O

I wish nobody misfortune but you gotta laugh, some things that happen to people are amazingly unlucky/asking for it.

I wonder if we laugh at misfortune because we hope people will take misfortune more seriously.

it's a part of it, nobody likes to be laughed at and made a fool of, and by being the example you must have done something wrong or stupid and peoples egos won't allow them to be laughed at so if we laugh at them then they will learn. But then there are some who never get it through their thick skulls and they are natural born clowns and lost causes.

I'm speaking of people who have it coming to them and those who don't think before they act, not those who experience accidents, that is random a.k.a life, those are unfortunate.

I actually snickered at those. I thought they were funny.

it's a funny site sometimes but come on, there is no good verification of any of those anecdotes. A lot of it seems far fetched to me. I suppose wondering if it's real or fake is part of the fun, but I find it to be of limited therapeutic value.
