Mine is the 10th Doctor Who, and the quote in my signature is someone describing the Doctor....
Your sig sounds to me like it is describing a certain Outer God . . .
In the story,
Human Nature/The Family of Blood, the Doctor makes himself human, ostensibly to escape some aliens called the Family of Blood, who want Time Lord physiology for their own purposes. The aliens arrive and take over the locals, including a pupil and a maid at the school the human version of the Doctor, John Smith, is teaching at. The Doctor's Time Lord essence is stored in a fob watch, and a young school boy called Tim Latimer takes it, not knowing what it is. However, when John Smith (who doesn't have any true memory of being a Time Lord, just dreams), Martha Jones (the Doctor's current companion), and Joan Redfern (a nurse Smith has fallen in love with) are hiding, Smith is afraid, because he has found out his whole life was a lie. Tim comes in, with the watch, and describes the Doctor. Here is the full speech:
Quote:
Tim Latimer: He's like fire and ice and rage. He's like the night, and the storm in the heart of the sun. He's ancient and forever. He burns at the center of time and he can see the turn of the universe. And... he's wonderful.
