The topic title is confusing so I'll try to explain it here. I was born in 1986 but enjoy games such as Super Mario Bros. and Donkey Kong etc. games that were just coming out or were out when I was at a young age. I also enjoy movies such as Bambi from the 60's and yes I even enjoyed It's a Wonderful Life and King Kong two B&W movies. On the Comic Book front I've just ordered Watchmen (something from 86/87) and A Killing Joke (88). So I was curious has anyone bought stuff from there childhood or liked stuff from when your parents were younger etc. (I hope my explanation was good enough sorry fellow WP readers)

I like the older Disney movies: Fantasia, Snow White, Sleeping Beauty, etc. I also like big band music.

I grew up in the nineties and most of my music collection are eighties and nineties records. Modern music doesn't do it to me somehow.

I also still enjoy most video games I played as a child :)

In fact I wish I were 10 years older so that I were a teenager during the eighties, the golden era of music.

I like all sorts of movies, music, fashion, and design from the 1980s. I think it would have been a cool time to grow up, I hate all of that stuff from this decade.

I was born in 1986 and I love old war movies. I also like military history.

Anything from the 60's as well!!

Uh Bambi came out in the 1940's.

I like Bewtiched, The Brady Bunch, I Love Lucy. I used to watch all those shows when they were on TV. I don't see them on TV anymore. I also have Atari games on PS1. I also love oldie music.

I love the 80's as you may already know from my name :) . I love the cheesiness, the hip hop b-boy fashion, the music (I love how synths and hard hitting snares sounded back then) and the fact that things were simpler back then. I also loved the hip hop back then, when you didn't have to be hard to sell records. I'm also into the 70's as well.

Born in the mid-70s... I like music ranging from 8-200 years older. I like 50s/60s art glass, early 20th century plastics (Bakelite), 1930s automotive and architectural stylings... and the list goes on and on.
