I'll become one of those, like, visionary teenagers.

You know, I'll wear bunny ears to school and rarely speak, and when I do speak, I'll say all sorts of philosophical stuff. And I'll do everything based on principles, and just spout my own nihilistic views of the world at random.

I'll be so cool.

No.

And I thought of something trippy to say!

"Right now in the world, someone just died. Live your life to the fullest, because someday, you're going to be one of the people I'm talking about."

I've done so between the time of my last post in this thread and your reply to the aforementioned post.

Nihilism is good in that it's just enough to make people think you're smart without being so inaccessible that they don't care. But if you want to be really awesome, go for something like existentialism.

I'll consider it. But in the end, it doesn't matter which I choose, or whether I choose at all.

existentialism is basically a reaction against nihilism... they go together...

and existentialism is completely a flawed system of beliefs as it tends to CENTER the SELF and completely ignore the world as a structure that defines how the SELF is as it is engaged in a social and political world.
