Nope. Never been in one and I don't think I have ever seen one except for BTHF.

I actually am, but for a original one, not one of the new ones... I got 4 years to get about £15,000 for a decent DeLorean.

I've been in one... wasn't too flattering. Then again, I was 10.

I like DeLoreans too! I wanted a toy model of the BTTF one, but you could only get them in America... so my girlfriend Amanda sent me one for my birthday!!

Also, there's a car in the video game Burnout Paradise that bears a striking resemblance to a DeLorean! In an update coming early next year, we'll be able to drive the 88 Special version...

When you hit the boost, it makes the fire trails behind the wheels! And click R3 for a special surprise!

When I was in high school in the 80's, there was a guy in my town who had a DeLorean and would drive it everywhere. In person, it looked small, cheap and rinky-tink. I always thought those doors would be a nuisance, always have to duck as you go out so not to hit your head. The exterior was already corroding, and it wasn't even 10 years old. It didn't seem to run very well either. Sorry, they don't look futuristic - they look dated. Like 80's dated. They are a good example of what people 25 years ago thought was futuristic, like Rubik's Cubes, asymmetrical haircuts and pop music that used only synthesizers. It's kind of silly and depressing.

Isn't that a bit too realistic for The Burnout games?

I don't get how you can slam through traffic, knock over stalls, and take part in crash events, in which the aim is to destroy all the cars on a four way junction, WITHOUT BEING CAUGHT BY THE POLICE!... Anyway...

That looks pretty cool, Although surely the world would go all glitchy if you went on water... or is this like one of those 'great reviews but not that good game?' game?

That reminds of a PS1 game where your car could turn into a boat, a car, and a plane... Man that was rubbish...

Heheh.

I like Burnout because it doesn't have any police in it. I have Need for Speed Carbon, and it's B*%$ annoying when you're escaping from the cops AFTER a race. During a race is okay, but after a race, avoiding spike strips and crap, is just plain annoying to play with. I once had a TWENTY MINUTE escape from the guys.

The DeLorean you see hovering in the screen can only do that: hover. It can't fly outright like the original Time Machine in the movies, rather it hovers a little bit above the ground. Burnout Paradise also doesn't have any immediately accessible bodies of water (unless you count being slammed over a gate into a lake as being "immediately accessible").
