Ok. So, my sister's cat was pregnant, and she's been staying with us because my sister's apartment only allows one pet(so, no kittens). And she just gave birth today while i was at work. Four healthy-looking kittens. I KNOW that my sister should have gotten her spayed, and, believe me, i told her to several times.. But she got out once and that's all it took. What's done is done though, and even though i'm disappointed that it had to work out that way because she wasn't spayed, i am very excited about the kittens. We had a box all set up for her with blankets and everything, but she ended up just having the kittens on the carpet.

Anyway, mama cat has let us get close and even touch her and the kittens, so here's some pics i took with my phone:

I've never had the experience of watching a dog, cat, snake or whatever having babies. I've often wondered what the experience is like.

I love babies!....a long time ago my calico got out and got knocked up and she had two kittens. We found great homes for them both, one of the ladies that took the little male called us all the time and thanked us.

I've never had the chance to witness new life coming into the world, but I'm sure it would be a magical experience. My uncle's cat had kittens when I was little and I remember seeing one fall off the beanbag (don't worry, he was OK). Also, my dog got pregnant a few months ago, but unfortunately she miscarried.

I first met my cat when he was two days old. He reminded my mum of the ginger cat she used to have so we picked him, the only ginger cat in the litter (the others were grey tabby and siamese).

That's so cute! I love kittens! I've always wanted to see a cat queen.

One of them has an interesting curl, like a corkscrew, at the end of his tail(the rest of them have normal tails). I've never seen anything like it on a cat before:
