Here in Orange county, you could almost just add a zero on the end of each price, and be in the ball park. 8O :? :(

That's the same thing in every country. A 1000 sq ft apartment in central Stockholm would cost more than a 10000 sq ft wooden house at the countryside.

The Midwest -- Illinois, Indiana, Ohio -- has some of the most affordable real estate in the country. The coasts are expensive.

I'm in Portland, Oregon, and house prices are shooting up here as Californians are migrating north. That 1,611 square foot house would be $250,000 - $280,000 here.

This area is poor. A lot of people live in trailers because that's all they can afford.
