Lately, I don't know why I have been having dreams about my deceased grandfather and great grandmother. I keep getting especially these dreams where I go to like where they lived, and while everything is still there, they are not there. And I just can't find them. I keep looking and looking for them, but I can't find them.

the dream is telling you that they are elsewhere, and you should not confine your conscious awareness to the here-and-now. IOW, look up and not down.

i had a dream the other night that my ex boyfriend was in the hospital with a broken leg. i decided to visit him in the hospital, however he was not in the special bed designed to help heal his leg, he was in a large snake tank petting a dog. the nurse was shouting at him because the dog wasnt allowed in the hospital and his leg wouldnt get any better if he was in a snake tank.

have no idea what this dream means.

I've always been able to remember my dreams, but lately, without the anti depressants i have taken for years i have had some measure of control within my dream, i am aware that im dreaming and if anything bad happens am able to change the situation slightly. very cool.

you are fortunate to have the power of lucid dreaming.

Hospital
To see or dream that you are in a hospital, symbolizes your need to heal or improve your physical or mental health. You need to get back to the flow of everyday life. Alternatively, the dream suggests that you are giving up control of your own body. Perhaps you are afraid of losing control of your body.
Broken Bones
To dream of broken bones, represents the discovery or realization that that there is a weakness in your plans or in your thinking. Your dream may call for your immediate attention to a particular situation or relationship.
Dog
To see a dog in your dream, symbolizes intuition, loyalty, generosity, protection, and fidelity. The dream suggests that your strong values and good intentions will enable you to go forward in the world and bring you success. The dream dog may also represent someone in your life who exhibits these qualities. The dog might represent your ex's new love interest. Alternatively, to see a dog in your dream, indicates a skill that you may have ignored or forgotten. Also consider common notions associated with the word dog, such as loyalty ("man's best friend") and to be "treated like a dog".
Snake Tank
The snake tank may also refer to an environment you spend some time in, or a person around you who is callous, ruthless, and can't be trusted. As a positive symbol, snakes represent healing, transformation, knowledge and wisdom. It is indicative of self-renewal and positive change.
To see a nurse in your dream, means that you need to take time out in order to heal, mentally, physically and spiritually.
Yelling
To dream that you or someone is yelling, represents repressed anger that needs to be expressed. If you are yelling and no one hears, then it suggests that you are being overlooked in some waking situation. You feel that your voice does not matter or that your opinion does not count.

where did you learn about dreaming and symbolism, its all very facinating and it may help me to figure myself out as i do remember the majority of my dreams. yeah, lucid dreaming is so cool, have only managed it 6 or 7 times so far and can only make small but significant changes, for example, in one dream i was beside a swimming pool talking to my mother when i notice my feet are covered in gashes and the flesh underneath is swollen, spongey and filled with pus, (disgusting i know) i was horrified, yet aware that this was a dream as i had previously had this dream. i willed my feet to heal themselves, it took a couple of minutes, but it worked. i woke up in a very good mood the next day.

i actually know very little about dreams, i just go to dreammoods.com and read their interpretations in their dream symbol search engine. they are very handy, and also have a really nice dream forum. i am listed there as user "abbynormal."
aside from that, i wish i had your lucid dreaming power- the one where you healed your feet is simply amazing. that is a real creative power that i am sure will manifest in your waking life in some manner. you are a powerful person.

I had a dream the other night that an ex-girlfriend stabbed be and mortally wounded me. As I lie on the floor with blood bubbling at my lips she kisses me saying she loves me but it isn't working out, and has sex with some guy in front of me while I lay dying. As the world fades to black they lick the blood off of their lips and walk out of my room in the barracks laughing. (I lied to her about cheating on her the entire time we were together-I got caught in a situation where I didn't want to hurt one of the girls and ended up hurting and losing both)

Daaaang. That means you're depressed. :(

Honestly, depression is nothing but trouble. You might need to see a therapist to help you bounce back.

I dreamt last night that a met some random aspie guy and he kept grabbing me and being all creepy. I asked him why he was being touchy feely and he said because he's friendly. Strange indeed.

This week at work, I got a chance to take part in a new anti-bullying initiative started by the courts and some non-profit organizations. I was so proud to tell the organizer I was an Aspie and wanted to impress her with how helpful I would be in this effort. So I sent her a very professional email offering my services to research, write, proofread, etc. (This all really happened.)

Then in my dream, I got an email reply. She sent me a recipe for paella and a long paragraph of lolspeak.

I had a dream about some giant ceilling worm thing living above a lake inside a cave and eating a cow alive. The caveworm, as I shall name it, looked like the Blob from the 1988 film and it could project a reflexion of another cow on the surface of the lake. Why a cow would be attracted by the reflexion of another cow in a lake is anyone's guess...

Anyway, I was watching it from a few meters and with indifference. Sure, I'm apathetic, but think my reaction would be a little more intense in a similar situation.

Obviously, the dream was inspired by centipedes like this:

With dreams like this, who needs alcohol/drugs?

In terms of weird dreams? I'll have to say that I had dremed of finding myself in my grandmother's old home though it seemingly appeared abandoned as, there was hardly any furniture nor was the lights on either.Actually to make this even more strange my grandmother was living there, in that my gram's old home had burned down due to fire over 20yrs ago as well, my grandmother passed away 2yrs ago.. I found that to be odd indeed..

my weirdest dream ever is truly horrific. i used to have stranger dreams, but that was when i took SSRIs. i have no excuse for this monstrosity, from about a month ago:

i dreamt that i was observing a women truss up another woman's body for roasting. she had messily cut off the victim's head and limbs, and had removed the innards just like a turkey.

she was pouring yellow Gatorade drink into the victim's body cavity and trying to find a way to tie up the victim to keep it from pouring out. i remember it sloshing around. just like a store-bought turkey, there wasn't any blood in the cavity, though the raw edges at the neck, shoulders and legs were jagged and red with blood.

there were two other women gathered around and they seemed a little put off by this display, but they still helped the murderer to prepare the victim for cooking. they were sort of like family members who had grown accustomed to the antics of the family alcoholic - slightly irritated but inured. the woman had killed the victim for a reason, but i can't remember what it was - something along the lines of her being The Other Woman.

i felt panicky and wanted to call the police. but i didn't want to make the woman angry and i didn't understand why the other women weren't very upset.

it was so disturbing it woke me up.

Lately, I have been having dreams about sharks. It wasn't scary, just really weird, but then again, all my dreams are weird.

time behaves differently in dreamscapes.
