went to queer youth group today, ate cocopops there for lunch and talked more to a girl i know and said hello to a person i had not seen in ages. realised that an article on the socialist alternative website and the topic of todays gender studies course related directly to last weeks marxist discussion group. i love massive coincidences.

Called in "sick" today. We were over staffed and I really didn't feel like being sent out to a different unit with patients that had VRE's or MRSA. So yeah......staying home. Off tomorrow as well, was off yesterday, so a nice little 3 days away from that dreadful place could do me some good.

i saw my niece at my mums, she reminds me so much of myself at that age. She's got no friends either:( i made her giggle a little, it made me feel good.
