A graduate producing better computer models of proteins than I probably will as an undergraduate (mainly because of doing so for art rather than special interests) is following my blog.

My interest in biochemistry was rekindled, but the numbers from the calendar calculation interest cannot seem to leave my mind. I wish I had a mental broom, because that would make the mental image of me trying to expel the insidious integers from the study of my mind more humorous and easier to translate into emotions and words.

Mom couldn't send a 30 megabyte .pdf file to one of her friends through hotmail, but she could send it to herself for some reason. I thought I was a computer genius .

i can not keep speaking to brick walls.
i have to realize that i am spending energy uselessly.

i am not able to blend with better minds than mine, and i should redirect my energy to where it matters more.

all the people who are important are inside, and i am outside, and i do not have a ticket to enter, so instead of shouting in the rain hoping that someone in the loud gabbling crowd inside hears me and comes outside to talk to me, i should just admit defeat and go home.

The trick is to use an actual lemon, not lemon juice.

After washing your face as usual, take a slice of lemon (it should be kind of thick) and rub it on your face. The lemon juice will act as an antiseptic, and like a mild chemical peel. Using the actual lemon means the juice is un-diluted and the membranes and the pulp still inside the lemon work like a kind of a scrubber. I try to do this every night before bed. If I run out of lemons and forget to get them for a while, my skin will break out again. YUCK!
Just be careful of sun exposure because of the newer skin the lemon reveals.

Well my house's windows, front door, and back door were replaced yesterday and got finished being replaced right about today.

My face hurts. If I wash my face with soap, it gets all dry looking and flaky even though it gets oily to the touch. But if I don't wash my face with soap, I break out with really big, painful, bleeding zits. Plus, I can smell the oils on the bridge of my nose when I breathe in, which is awful. So either I have face dandruff or I'm a pizza face. Yay! Teenageness!
