I'm tired of having nothing to do every day.

freedom and ignorance can't coexist. folks who presently find their lives devoid of activity and excitement, soon will wish they never complained about it.

marshall, thank you for that George Carlin video. I love (loved) him....he's so brutally honest and so on the mark with the truth.

kestrel, yes. I don't like fake colored flowers either, even though I like that blue hue. They dye everything these days; especially food.

It's terrible when people color their pets' hair. I hate seeing pink poodles! Those poor puppies.
grrrr.

ETA: Perhaps one of my biggest "pet peeves" is little dogs as a fashion accessory. Thanks a lot Paris Hilton!

I just don't understand why someone would want to change a plant from its natural color to some funky artificial color when there are other monopodial orchids that are naturally the same color.

With pets, it's a bit worse, I imagine. I feel bad for those dogs.

[unrelated cynicism injection:] My cats sleep all day. Sometimes, I wish I were a cat, but nothing would ever get done and who would change the cat litter?

FAIL. This isn't pessimism, it's realism. :P

Me too. Especially if I go back to school. At least there are no debtor's prisons anymore.

I'm tired of having random health problems. First it's panic attacks. Then it's fainting. Then it's hypothetical thyroid problems commingled with maybe heart issues. But they don't know. And I'm tired of going to the doctor every week to find out. Someone just tell me what's wrong so I can deal with it accordingly.
But that's never going to happen. They're going to drag it out, and then school will start. I'll be on all sorts of new meds for this and that, while trying to concentrate. And I'm already terrified out of my mind. School is my last shot at making it in this world, and I've got to do well. But I don't concentrate well.

And I made an effort to get my medications worked on four months ago, thinking I would have time. Argh! I don't!

what is true of the present will not necessarily be true in the future.

If the inference here was that the healthcare system sucks, then I'm on board. It's crap, and many layers of it, all designed to keep us in the system for as long as possible so that providers and insurers can make more money. A google search can be quicker, and probably more concise than what doctors, diagnosticians, and specialists get paid to do. It's all completely bass ackwards.

Modern medicine my ass. The US has the worst healthcare in the world.

People both hate to be disagreed with and only really respond to things with which they disagree, probably because they don't want to sound like yes-men praising the things which are good ideas of others which does sound lame much of the time and so instead they try to sound more intelligent by nitpicking flaws. Because of this, there is no possibility of real constructive criticism, only people who nitpick and offer their solution to whatever flaws they've dug up or invented and it would be folly according to them to not follow their advice to the letter. Any deviation and it's your own fault for everything that ever went wrong in the universe!! !!

When software is broken, it's patched, fixed, or a new version is rolled out. Your turn government. I would like to remove myself from your beta.

It's just like posterboard to not be in my house.
