I guess there is very little doubt I am, or seen as being. For example I was never exactly a natural 'party' person or someone naturally able to 'let his hair down'. And I tend to fit best into social groups of people who are just the same way - birds of a feather. I also hardly ever show 'irreverence' at all in how I communicate and interact (though this is partly how my AS affects me and I find humour difficult).

Are you straight laced?

Not at all! I am very loose as long as I am with a like minded group (friends, family) but not among strangers
although I do my best not to hide my wild side even then. :D

Not really. I can be serious when the occasion calls for it, but mostly I'm pretty relaxed.

Serious, up-tight, that sort of thing.

I see straight-laced as being very proper. Not necessarily serious or uptight. Just very conservative and unlikely to do anything audacious.

People who don't know me well would say I am straight-laced. And around most people I am. But people who know me well have seen me do some audacious things! LOL!

Most of the time I am pretty "straight-laced." I don't engage in social chit-chat, I don't laugh at people's jokes, I don't go to amusement parks or party/drink/do drugs and my idea of a good time is being holed up in my room doing research on a topic/interest or engaging in something related to a special interest. Even then, I am extremely serious. For me, fun was something to have as a child; I'm an adult and should conduct myself as one (I'm not telling others they cannot have fun; it's just not for me). My 21st birthday was spent in my dorm compiling a 300 page report called "Civil Defense: A Culture of Fear?" The odd thing is, I never even planned on using it - it was just for the sake of it. I don't know many people who would find this an ideal way to spend their 21st.

I'm one of those ones who appears to be until you get to know me. I'm pretty submissive when it comes to authority, though, so I don't actually do crazy, dangerous stuff. Mostly I just have a wonky-laced mind.
