An overdue hug for Moomingirl, because of getting worn out socializing online. Take it easy there sister, I hope you're enjoying your off-days. :D

And a hug for everyone else in the thread as well, especially syzygyish. I hope you feel better!

I'm depressed because I think I blew it with that girl from LA. *sigh*

a lot of us spend time in the 'Getting to Know You' thread welcoming new members, and giving advice in other places. I don't think that precludes us from wanting to have some fun with our friends as well. Also, please be aware that for a lot of us, interactions with strangers (even online) can be draining and some of the topics can be quite depressing, so a short rest stop in a happy thread where we know everyone is a bit of a relief.

I am So Ashamed!

I have gone through all the stages and have come out the other end

...and I hug the amazing Barnabear, you deserve friends, and I thank you too for being my friend. You have the honour of being my first Aspie friend too. (Barnabear deserves many hugs from all subsequent posters, for battling on through trying times).

Hug that bear!

Ooooo . lovely.. Have a hug right back, Moomingirl.

I used to love reading Moomintroll when I was a child. The stories seemed quite random, but they had a charm about them.

Beware the groke.

^ Yes, the stories are kind of random, but if you read them there is a lot of neurodiversity and acceptance. The Hemulens sound just like Aspies when you read the description of them.

You obviously know about the stories because you're English (I am originally too). Most people here haven't even heard of the Moomins. When I have my Moomintroll avatar up I keep getting called a hippo. 8O By the way, I love your avatar.

Another hug for barnabear, and one for Theta when he gets here. :D

A Hug for MjrMajorMajor, Greyhoundgirl, WPers in general, and anyone who needs one especially. I am not hug-averse, so I got ya covered. :D

I hug Moomingirl, Sylkat, Sciuridae if he's in earshot (well, or regardless), whirlingmind, auntblabby, pcgoblin, syzygyish, barnabear, MjrMajorMajor, envirozentinel, I_wanna_blue, Krabo, popsicle, Canaspie, Murihiku, Wherewolfpoet, Beppieiscool, and anyone else I'm forgetting, and everyone else regardless. Because I know times are few when we couldn't use one!
