Anyone else dreading the heat? It's only 62 here and I already get woozy from too much time outside in the sun.

Time to head for the nice, cool basement...

No, I'm looking forward to it. I don't like under 50.

Summers are annoying. I prefer cold winters where I can stay inside, drink hot chocolate and do some programming.

It hit 101 today.

I am grateful I have the flu, I feel cold throughout this heat wave.

I likely wouldn't be doing anything because it is so hot outside; may as well get sick now and stay cold through the heat wave.

I really don't like warm weather. My ideal temperature is 55 degrees.

PS - I'm not in Connecticut right now, I'm out in Wichita for a few months.

Nope, I prefer summer over winter anytime. I'm disappointed summer is over.

have been dreading the heat for a while now OP,though am 'lucky' to live in the UK.
am severely epileptic,it always worsens in the heat and by law this care home is not allowed to turn off the main heat controls, add to that we have some support staff who originate from extremely hot countries who get cold very easily and they turn up the radiators and shut all the windows.

on top of the heat, its the time of the year when all the men start bringing the lawn mowers/hedge trimmers etc out and competing with each other every two days or so to get the nicest looking garden-a sensory night mare that also makes it worse for all of us hay fever sufferers as they send the pollen flying.

its also that time of the year when biscuit and boomer;the cats of mine who live at the family home start sprawling themselves all over the garden in the heat and act as public transport for the local population of insects like slugs that have crawled over them both and got stuck in their furr.

oh,and its also the time all the noisy children start coming out,we have had some of our baby trees ripped out of their holes already and blindly thrown at a bedroom window behind our fence along with stones-when its obvious to the outsider this is a care home and will have very vulnerable individuals living there or moving around outside.

the only reason i am not dreading summer is my trip to Mexico and New York/DC.

this week it has gotten above 85 degrees fahrenheit every day (29.4 celsius for you non-americans), but this weekend it was cooler, thankfully.

i just can't imagine what the summer will bring, ESPECIALLY when i go to mexico. excessive cold is way more preferable than excessive heat, for me :sunny:

anything above 75 (23) is too hot for me, and i've lived here my whole life.

my ideal temp is anything from 52-65. (11.1 - 18.3)

hopefully this summer isn't as painfully boring as the last one. :?

I love summer!
Unfortunately the higher temperatures haven't set in in the part of the world I life.

I only like the winter when it's snowing and freezing. What I dislike most are rainy summers and winters. It should be cold in winter and warm in the summertime allthough high temperatures and too much humidity in the air are not the best combination I can think of.

Even though I don't like how hot it can get during the summer, I would definitely take this over our cold winters. This may sound strange coming from a Canadian, but I absolutely hate winter weather. I would love to live somewhere where the temperature never goes below freezing.

I like spring and rain and storms and all that. Although our summers often feel like spring. Summer's a refreshing change from a seven-month long winter.

I like summer. The only thing I don't like about it is how unbelievably hot it can get at times, but I'll take that over snowy weather any day.
