Ah, I'm glad you asked.
It's Atticus Finch, from To Kill A Mockingbird. It happens to be my favourite movie of all time so needless to say, it's beautiful and really REALLY awesome.

I did not have MTV as a teenager, but, when I started working my first fulltime job, at Hardee's, one of the cooks started calling me Daria.

It wasn't until I was 20 or 21 that I was in a movie store and saw the Daria movies, so I bought them out of curiosity, and about three seconds into it I'm like, "omg, THAT'S WHY!"
