initially, when i tried to login, i received a messaged that i had been permanently banned from the forum...which...would not make sense as i very rarely get on and have never received so much as a warning in the 9 years that i have been a member (also...jesus christ, it has been 9 years). is there anyone who can tell me what is up? was it just a fluke (as i am in now)?

yes, it's a fluke. obviously you're not banned, and you're not alone. lots others have gotten that bogus message too. me included, when i used the search function.

seems like even with this spankin' new forum, bugs are going to be bubbling up time to time. new ones!
