I hate wireless mouse and keyboards. They kept running out of batteries.

Well, if that's the case, you're doin' it wrong!

They last FOREVER! I haven't even changed the batteries in my mouse yet and I've had it for over a year.

1. Use Energizers if you have them wherever you are;
2. ALWAYS use Lithium batteries. They're more expensive but they last a hell of a whole lot longer.
